New beds for parents

38 beds for parents of little patients were provided to the Children's Hospital.

At the end of last year, a donation was received from the Latvian Post Bank, thanks to which 38 beds for parents of little patients were provided to the Children's Hospital this week, which will allow them to have more comfortable staying in the wards overnight. The parents of older children (over 5 years of age) in the hospital are kindly invited to spend their time next to their the child, but spend the night at the Parent's House, in order to have a high-quality rest and to provide the child with the necessary support the next day.

In turn, the mother or accompanying person stays in the hospital at the child up to five years of age, even overnight, with the prior agreement with the hospital staff, and provided that the ward has a free bed. The problem that both parents and the hospital have encountered so far — the folding bed resources have been depreciated, damaged and consequently, reduced significantly. Now we have managed to get new folding beds of a good quality.
